Pool alerts and notifications
We know how important it is to have access to your local pool when you need it. While we do our best to keep our pools open and available for everyone to enjoy, sometimes, we need to close a pool or change schedules due to events, maintenance, or unexpected situations.
Why do pool closures happen?
We aim to give as much notice as possible when a pool is unavailable. Here are some common reasons:

Swimming meets & events – some pools may be booked for competitions or large school groups.

Staff training – ensuring our team is equipped to provide the best service sometimes requires short closures.

Scheduled maintenance – regular upkeep keeps our facilities in top shape.

Hygiene incidents – occasionally, we have to close pools temporarily to maintain water quality.

Equipment failures – issues with pumps, heat systems, or other essential equipment can lead to unexpected closures.

Weather-dependent events – activities like Yoga by the Pool may be cancelled at short notice due to bad weather.

All-staff events – very occasionally, all facilities close for short periods.

Know before you go - get notified with Antenno
Antenno is a free mobile app that sends location-based notifications straight to your phone. You can choose places that matter to you and avoid missing important information about your local pools, including swimming lesson enrolment and reminders so you know when to book for the next term.
Adding places to receive alerts
Once you’ve downloaded Antenno, you'll need to set up places important to you, so you receive notifications about those locations. Your places could be your home, your children's school, or your favourite pool. We recommend adding all places of interest to ensure you get updates that are relevant to you.
How to set up:

Open the app and add Your Places (e.g., your home, work, or favourite pool).
