Coastlands Aquatic Centre maintenance closure
Coastlands Aquatic Centre will have temporary closures and changed access while essential maintenance work is completed from Monday 22 June to Sunday 5 July 2026.
The main pool will be closed during this period. The programmes pool and toddlers pool will remain open, except for a full-day closure on 23 June.
Opening hours during the maintenance period
The aquatic centre will operate under adjusted opening hours during the works:
- Monday to Friday: 7am–9pm
- Saturday and Sunday: 8am–8pm.
Pool and facility availability
The following facilities will remain open during the maintenance period:
- programmes pool
- toddlers pool.
Note: The programmes pool and toddlers pool will be closed for the full day on 23 June due to noise and disruption from tiling work.
The following facilities and activities will be unavailable during the maintenance period:
- main pool (except for club use during set times)
- Aquafit classes
- main pool lessons and bookings
- slide
- café
- meeting room.
The spa and sauna will open daily from 5pm.
Access changes during the works
Entry to the facility will be through the café emergency exit doors while foyer tiles are replaced.
Reception services will operate from the café computer area during the works.
Access around the facility will look different, but signs will be in place to guide visitors.
Maintenance work being completed
Essential maintenance work includes:
- pool floor repairs
- reception tiling
- slide runout work
- meeting room carpet cleaning.
Divers will also be working under the moveable floor in the main pool.
