Located on the grounds of Haruātai Park, our Ōtaki Pool caters for all ages and aquatic abilities. For fun whatever the weather, join in our SPLASH! sessions, book a birthday party, and check out our Aquafitness programme and upcoming events.
In the summer, our tamariki love our free-to-use splashpad and our slippery slope Te Mania Auheke, which runs most days through the summer school holidays (normal pool admission charges apply). And don't forget to sign up for our Summer Intensive Learn to Swim lessons in January.

To ensure all customers have vacated the facility before the pool closes for the night, you must be out of all pools and spa 15 minutes before closing time.
Our spa closes at 6pm on Tuesdays and Fridays for cleaning.
Our 33.5 metre lane pool has a removable ramp and hoist access to assist swimmers with disabilities into the pool.
When there are booking or programmes in the main pool. there will be a minimum of three lanes for the public.
Babies and toddlers love our toddler pool.
Swim nappies must be worn by all babies and toddlers under four. These can be purchased from reception at cost price.
The adult only spa* is great for tired muscles, backache and stress relief. Seating up to 8 people, the spa is heated to 38 degrees.
Both our sauna and spa are restricted to 16+ years.
Te Mania Auheke runs most days through the summer school holidays, 1–3pm excluding Tuesdays and Thursdays, weather permitting!
Join us in the sun (remember your suncream!) and see how fast you can go down the 28-metre slope!

Enjoy our warm showers, heated changing rooms and pick up essentials at our on-site swim shop. You can also make use of our on-site BBQ and in the summer our free outdoor splashpad is open 8am-8pm.
We have an all-inclusive accessibility policy including ramp and hoist access into pools with trained staff to assist. We also have disabled and family change rooms. Read more about accessibility at our pools.
